Happy First Easter Katie!

We spent Easter morning sick, Katie's getting over her ear-infection, I'm taking my meds for mine that started. We weren't sure if we would go to Auntie Carols and Uncle Larry's today or not, but Katie was a trooper, and off we went. She was a good girl, a bit cranky, but we had a great time with our Beckett cousins, and Katie even let Auntie Mandy feed her her bottle! She's very picky about that! Auntie Mandy let Katie play with her big silver necklace too! Auntie Carol and Uncle Larry gave Katie and Easter Basket with Eggs and a beautiful summer dress, and the Becketts brought Katie a very cute pink Easter bunny holding a carrot! She was so happy to play with the different items, but really wanted to try to eat the grass out of the Easter basket from Auntie Carol! She ate some cheese and veggies, and held her own. Thanks for a great Easter! As soon as we got home, pajamas and Mama Mia! went on. HAPPY EASTER!

Katie is standing on her own!

Katie is pulling herself up on anything she can now, in the crib, on her table toys, everything! It's a little bit nerve racking as I'm afraid for her to fall and bump her head, but I know it's going to happen, and all she wants to do is stand. If you hold her in a standing position and have to do something so you sit her down, she gets SO mad!! She's going to be crawling soon, I know it, and I don't know if I look forward to it or not. Jo-Jo puppy is staying with us this week, she finds her very amusing, and we are doing chin and rabbit bondings... Life is never sane in this house! GO KATIE GO!!! Mommy loves you little one!

Katie said "Uh-Oh" today!

I worked this evening and Katie was in the kitchen with Skooze and myself, thanks for the awesome sandwhich by the way Skooze! Katie dropped a cell phone on the floor, Skooze and I both said "Uh-Oh!" and Katie went "Uh-Oh!" Ok, it was cool. It's her 9th birthday today! She's so awesome!

Katie's 3rd Baby Shower!

We went to Erin's baby shower for baby Braden today. Katie got to hang with Morgan, Madison, Connor and a baby girl named Sophie. It was a nice shower! Katie started doing something new today, when I hold her, she's patting my back kind of like she's saying "it's OK mom, you are doing OK!" Daddy's on his way home from Texas tonight, and I can't believe it's a work day again tomorrow already! OH! Katie tried pulling herself up today from a sitting position!
